VOLCANIC ASH CANCELS PACKER VISIT
Posted on 01 May 2010
Sadly, the cloud of volcanic ash from Iceland made flights from Vancouver impossible
And Rev. Prof. Jim Packer was unable to resume his on-going friendship with the congregation at Ferndale…. to the next time, Jim! Dr. Packer was to have addressed the north-east staff workers of the UCCF where Peter Dray is the team leader… and Stephen stepped in at the last moment. His introduction to Bible Interpretation and, especially, the expositions of Exodus 20-23 and 1 Corinthians 7 were enthusiastically received… but were only second best for the group! Stephen and Peter always seek to support and encourage one another in ministry and Stephen was delighted to help Peter in this way.
