Visitors from the Sahara

A balmy evening, plentiful food and a happy gathering of Ferndale faithful welcomed Boureima, Susanna and Belko Diallo on Friday night.

Boureima, a former student of Stephen and native Fulani, works with his family work in Burkino Faso where he is involved in pioneer ministry in church planting among the largely Muslim Fulani tribe. He was able to report that three churches have been planted during the last eighteen months and that six church planters have been recently commissioned to work within the villages. It is planned that as new congregations are formed these will, themselves, be encouraged to send out further church planters. Radio ministry is also commencing in the capital of Ouagadoudou and educational and prison programmes and the development of a centre for training and evangelism established.

Enthused by Boureima, those present were especially struck by Boureima’s humility. We will not forget you, family Diallo!
