The Italian Job

Posted on 10 November 2008
The congregation at Ferndale celebrated with Jon Delves this weekend when he received notification of winning a prestigious prize.

Intern, Jon, was advised that the annual prize, awarded to the best student in Italian at Lancaster University and presented by the Consul-General of the Swiss Confederation, was his! Jon spent a year in Italy while studying his degree and retains a love for the country. Stephen commented that ‘This is a fitting award to Jon who achieved this success while, at the same time, experiencing serious health problems. Well done!‘
