Stepping Out

The Girls’ Brigade were well-represented at the Parade Service on Sunday.

Overseen by Andrew, Sheridan Laverick led the intercessions and the whole Brigade joined together as they taught the rest of the congregation a new song (and actions!).  Office, Sarah Dawkins, gave a challenging presentation in which she showed that Jesus can permanently change lives in a way New Years’ Resolutions fail to do!

Sheridan leads in prayer

With increased numbers and new officers (Sarah and Melanie Diji) to assist Linda, Sarah and Sue, the work is in ‘good heart’ and one of a number of encouraging developments in the life of the Church. The prayers and thanks of the Church and its leaders goes to all those who seek to bring the Gospel of Jesus to the young lives in the Brigade.

The girls enjoyed the service and the chance to show off their new uniform.  well done to Sheriden and Sarah for their inputinto the service. We pray that we continue to have a good number of girls next time at church parade, which will refelect the number of girls who attend every wednesday.
