Spurgeon Looks On!
The Committee, gathered at Spurgeon’s College, London, from Norway, Germany, Scotland, France, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Bulgaria and, in the case of Ferndale minister, Stephen, from England. Plans were put in place for the 2010 bi-ennial Conference in Berlin and, in order to develop the ministry of the Fellowship, a further meeting of the Committee planned for Aix-en-Provence the coming September. During the meeting an old friend of Stephen, Dr. Pieter Lalleman (Netherlands and Spurgeon’s College) was appointed editor of the European Journal of Theology and Stephen appointed chair of the Editorial Board. Ferndale’s mission statement includes the phrase, a ‘church with a global vision’ and Stephen’s involvement in FEET is one of the means by which this is being realised.
