Mick Vanner and Stephen attended the 65th Anniversary of the the loss of MM Submarine Truculent on 10th January.

Held in St. George’s Chapel, Chatham, the service recalled the peace-time loss of Truculent with over 60 persons, following its accidental collision with a Swedish trawler in the Thames.
As usual, the Essex contingent visited the Tudor Rose in Upnor, birthplace of Chairman Fritz Fry, for some subsequent lubrication with the blonde stuff.
