Partners in the Gospel
The Partnership is a group of several dozen Christians committed to support and nurture Bible-teaching Gospel ministry through gifts to interns, Bible College students and new ministries. It has disbursed over £1,000,000 since it was founded 5 years ago and was able to give grants of £340,000 for 2008.
The Trust have kindly offered a grant for 2009 to Ferndale to help establish Andrew’s work, especially as Community Chaplain.
Representing Ferndale, Stephen and Andrew were one of three beneficiaries who were interviewed at length during the meeting. They were very warmly welcomed and encouraged. Stephen comments, ‘It was lovely to share fellowship with others who were so committed to Gospel ministry and who warmed to the work we are seeking to do in urban Southchurch. Sometimes it feels as though we are quite alone… but the generosity of people such as the Trust is a real encouragement to ongoing faithfulness!‘
