Labourers in the Sahara

Stephen was delighted to receive a recent update from former student, Boureima Diallo, an evangelist and church planter among his native Fulani.

While Boureima has been struggling with his health, the encouragements he reports are considerable. Radio broadcasts are expected to commence shortly, their facilities in Ouagadougou are extensively used for meetings, study and library facilities, a church has been planted in the capital of Burkino Faso, where the enthusiasm of new converts is a considerable encouragement. Meanwhile a childrens club has started, a caf‚ is projected, ministry to those in prison continues…

Stephen comments, Boureima is a remarkable young man upon whom the LORD’s hand clearly appears to rest. He and Susanna and Belko (their son) are examples of pioneer mission in days when, perhaps, such pioneer work might have been thought to be a thing of the past!‘
