IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF JAMES HUDSON TAYLOR

Posted on 27 September 2013
Hudson Taylor was one of the most remarkable missionaries in the nineteenth century and is widely regarded as the apostle to China: millions today owe their faith to his labours.

Hudson Taylor’s missionary society, formerly the China Inland Mission, now the Overseas Missionary Fellowship, continues to flourish. Its English ‘base’ is now in Borough Green, Kent. Stephen commenced a series of three weekly devotional studies with the staff on the 26th September. He comments, ‘There is something rather awesome and humbling to walk in Hudson’s Taylor’s footprints and to pass through corridors that remind of him and others; some of who paid the ultimate price in their desire to make Jesus known.‘
