GEORGIAN UPDATE
Posted on 30 April 2010
Stephen has recently made two visits to Oxford.
During one, he was able to meet Archbishop Malkhaz for lunch and discuss some possible visits to Georgia for Stephen to teach Old Testament studies for the Evangelical Baptist Church of Georgia and to meet with some of the theological staff at the University of Tbilisi. The other visit was for another Orthodox-Evangelical consultation. Ferndale welcomes Stephen’s involvement in such projects and wishes to encourage his ministry in Orthodox-dominant cultures in eastern Europe.
