The 9th to the 17th June witnessed the Parish Mission.

Assisted by ‘Through Faith Missions’ and led by Evangelist Emeritus Peter Adams and Founder Evangelist Daniel Cozens, events commenced with a joint commissioning service at St. Luke’s and, subsequently, included a ‘Pink Evening’ parish survey, BBQ with the Baden Powell and Girls Brigade groups,  Night of Colour, men’s breakfast, healing service, schools work, young people’s groups, hall-users receptions, Hot Potatoes, Holy Spirit service and a final service at Ferndale Baptist Church.
Ferndale were a full partner to the event. A number of meetings took place at Ferndale and a daily ‘Hot Potato’ apologetic event occurred in the Café. Stephen comments, ‘We were delighted to join together in this event designed to make Jesus known in what is, at the very least, the first time such an evangelistic event has taken place within living memory.’ Further joint outreach events are anticipated.
