Addressing the future among the ghosts of the past

On Wednesday evening, Barry Cole and Stephen Dray attended a reception sponsored by Sarum College in the spectacular setting of Cheyneygates, Westminster Abbey.

Cheyneygates is the former abbot’s lodgings and the scene of several important events in British history. Edward V was born there and, later, he was taken from there to the Tower to join his brother, Richard: they were, of course, never heard of again! Sir Thomas More also spent his last days at Cheyneygates before removal to the Tower for his execution.
