A God-send!

Posted on 19 November 2008
Ferndale is delighted to announce that Rev. Andrew Mumford has been appointed as voluntary Associate Minister for a period of up to six months form December 1st.

Raised in Ipswich, Andrew became a Christian when he was 12. Involved in several churches in a variety of leadership roles, he obtained a BD at Aberdeen in 1995. An FIEC Associate Member, he most recently pastored Eastwood Road Evangelical Church, Rayleigh. At the moment Andrew is uncertain of his future and welcomes the opportunity to ‘keep his hand in’ while exploring God’s will for him, his wife and family.

Andrew is married to Carolyne, a qualified chef and they have two children, Daniel (7) and Hannah (4).

Stephen comments, ‘We are delighted to welcome Andrew, Carolyne and family. The Church is going through a period of rapid change and challenge and the opportunity to have another experienced pastor as a colleague is a veritable ‘God-send’. We look forward to being a blessing to the family as, we are sure, they will bless us!’
