A FLYING VISIT
Posted on 16 June 2010
Last weekend Stephen visited Portadown in Northern Ireland to take part in the licensing of Mark Proctor to ministry in the Presbyterian Church of Ireland.
The service was conducted at the First Presbyterian Church and was conducted by the Moderator, Rev Peter Gamble and the Clerk of Presbytery, Rev James Gordon. Mark and his wife Zoe, who Stephen married eight years ago, are former students at Moorlands College where Stephen taught… and they all became firm friends. Meanwhile, Jon Delves, who shortly plans to return to Ferndale, preached at Ferndale; much to the encouragement of all who gathered.
