A Bumper Christmas

Posted on 01 January 2006
Ferndale Baptist Church members were greatly encouraged by the number of new contacts that were made over the Christmas period. The Nativity Play service and Carols by Candlelight were well attended and the Christmas Eve Watch-night service was particularly well-supported by members of the local community: young and old.

Highlight of the activities was, however, the first of the services to take place at St. Edmunds Hall (another Candlelit service) where a number of those in the area attended and responded very positively to the news given at the service that fortnightly meeting would be commencing in January. One person commented, ‘There is nothing to do around here on Sunday afternoons’.
