FutureFaith Conference 2009 - Life After Death

What is FutureFaith?

FutureFaith 2009 is the third annual day conference hosted by Ferndale Baptist Church, Southend-on-Sea. FutureFaith seeks to draw on the best of evangelical scholarship to bring clear and Biblical theology to bear on contemporary questions. By bringing together eminent and well-known contributors with up-and-coming names in their fields, FutureFaith brings a challenging and fresh perspective on the current state and future direction of evangelical Christianity.

A key feature of FutureFaith is interaction. We believe that theology is not just the preserve of the privileged few. Indeed, it only achieves its full value when the insights gained are lived out in the lives of God’s people. We want to provide a resource for those seeking to live out and share the Gospel, and a challenge to think deeply about life and faith.

We also want to give those attending the opportunity to interact with out invited speakers and to ask questions. We hope this will be of mutual benefit to both speakers and hearers alike.
This year’s conference will take place on Saturday 7th February. We are delighted to welcome Rev. Prof. Henri Blocher and Rev. Dr. Andy Saville to give this year’s lectures.

Henri A. G. Blocher:

He has taught in Africa, Australia, Canada, Europe and the United States. And was involved with the Lausanne Committee on World Evangelisation from 1975 to 1980.
