Welcome to the
Ferndale Family of Churches
Whether you are just browsing or thinking of visiting, we hope you find our website a useful resource. The Ferndale 'family' comprises three churches.
Ferndale Baptist Church
is an evangelical Baptist church in the heart of Southchurch, Southend-on-Sea. We are a group of people who love and follow Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is vital in this, and so teaching from the Bible is a key feature when we meet together. And we believe that the good news of Jesus Christ should be shared with those who don't know him.
Sunday services at 10.30am and 6.30pm (Find Us)
Brethren in Christ Church
is a primarily Zimbabwean congregation also meeting at Ferndale. We are part of the worldwide Brethren in Christ movement. Our meetings are times of lively worship and Bible teaching. If you would like to find out more about what we believe, our Articles of Faith and Doctrine can be read here.
Sunday service at 1.00pm
Alpha & Omega Pentecostal Church
is a French, English and Lingala speaking congregation. We meet together to worship, to pray together, and to listen to God speak through the Bible. You would be welcome at any of our meetings. Contact Pastor Emmanuel for more details.
Sunday service at 12.30pm at St Edmunds Hall
